The New Moon will be in Pisces tomorrow. New Moons are a time of new beginnings, fresh starts and initiations. Pisces is the poet, the mystic, the dreamer. The Fishes "feel" their way through life, soaking up the emotional tides that flow around them. Pisces moons tend to bring in people from your past, thoughts of your mother ~ be it your own mother, a maternal friend or even your connection to the Goddess, Mother Earth or your own "inner" mother.
Pisces is senstive, compassionate, empathetic ~ tuned into spirituality and oneness. Pisces brings our addictions into our awareness and often feels the need to escape from the mundane, cold, cruel world. Meditation, singing, art, dance, spirituality are all positive avenues to seek respite from the everyday world. Drugs and alcohol are lower level ways of seeking escape and can lead to powerful addictions and a dysfunctional life.
