New Moon in Leo

As I write, it is a new moon at 17 degrees Leo. New moons are a time of new beginnings. Leo is all about our creativity, generousity and child-like qualities. Leo is like a slow burning fire, with ever-lasting passion, optimism and heart. Where ever Leo falls in your natal chart, this New Moon is about creating an optimistic start in some arena of your life. If it's in your 1st astrological house, it's about the Self. How do you look, act, present yourself to others? This is also the house of your individualism ~ the "I am energy". If this New Moon falls in your 7th house, then it is about new beginnings in relationships ~ how your "I am" energy mixes with "us" energy. There are a total of 12 astrological houses, and no doubt each month, the New Moon marks a time for us to "plant some new seeds of intent" in one of those twelve houses. What would you like to grow, to change, to initiate? This is the time.

Try to write down atleast 5 things you'd like to start. Maybe you could write 5 statements that begin with: I wish_____________, or I hope_______________, or I dream of___________. Give it a try, see what happens. Check your status on the Full Moon later this month and see if you have tended well to your new garden. If you have, then you might expect to see the fruits of labor in a few weeks. Even more powerful, if you continue feeding energy to this "garden," the Full Moon six months from now will be more bountiful than ever! You can count on it!

Winds of change continue blowing...

I am hoping to hear from anyhone who has their own story about change and how it has empowered them. As humans, we often gain our strength through the stories of others, witnessing their courageous acts and learning from their trials.
